Such a simple premise, but really well executed! There's a lot of potential here, I hope you continue working on this and make a full game out of it!
Thank you so much for your kind comment! ^^
Ok, so aside from this game being (from Foley to foliage) aesthetically GORGEOUS and right up my alley...
I loved this game! More importantly the game design. I love the use of the mechanic and how thought out each puzzle feels. Some might complain about shifting through the seasons as "tedious" but I noticed how often times the puzzle itself was made so that you only needed to shift one season over to accomplish the next part. Very clever. The only time I rolled my eyes was when I failed at platforming and had to scroll through to fix my mistakes. Outside of a bug or two I never felt like the game was at fault for breaking pace and the "tedium" acted as a sufficient punishment for sucking.
I would lo~ove to see more of this lil paper mouse-io. Great work!
There's potential for this game, and I'd like to see it become a full game too. However, I did feel that changing seasons took a little too long, so maybe you can shorten the animation or allow the player to choose the season via 1,2,3,4 or some other keybind.
Nice game design!
This art style is so nice!! The concept is really neat too I'd love to see it built upon. I was a little surprised when falling platforms never respawned but thats really my only comment. Really nice work!
They respawn when you make it spring again :3
That was CUTE and it was a really interesting concept. I could see this being fleshed out into a full game!
Cool idea and a good amount of levels. Also way too cute. Love that little desperate flutter in the jump animation.
